SNOW REMOVAL
Our snow removal company will do everything reasonable to
maintain clear and safe roads.
The snow removal contractor will plow after 2-3 inches of snow,
and in case of overnight snowfall, will have trucks in our
neighborhood no later than 6 a.m. Additionally, they will monitor
our road conditions throughout the day. Please bear this in mind
before contacting the board.
Our snow removal service will plow as close to the pavement as
possible and will apply salt & grit where necessary. However,
the condition of our roads is affected by many factors, including:
- Snowfall amount, snow consistency and length of snowfall .
- Cold temperatures and heavy traffic result in icy conditions, which are compounded by the steep grades of our roads.
The proper preparation of your vehicle for winter driving is a key factor in your ability to safely and successfully navigate our steep/winding roads. Good snow tires with studs or 4-wheel drive are highly recommended for our roads in the winter.
